It may be the holiday season but we’re continuing to support businesses right through. Read on to find out what we’ve been up to, and how we solve problems for our clients.


August 2025
As part of our recruitment services, 42% of roles have already been successfully filled, with a further 42% nearing completion. By actively managing each stage of the recruitment process, we ensure strong outcomes for our clients while maintaining momentum towards filling the remaining roles efficiently. We are tackling recruitment challenges head-on, ensuring our clients find the right people for their business.Â


August 2025
Throughout August, our team delivered a wide range of HR administration services to support clients with their day-to-day operations, solving everyday challenges that come with HR processes. This included preparing employment contracts, coordinating onboarding and inductions, arranging training, and managing changes to roles and salaries. We also provided ongoing support through the HR inbox, ensuring timely responses to employee queries.Â


August 2025
Our HR team has been extremely productive across the month of August, working across both retainer and non-retainer clients on a variety of people matters. This has included supporting investigation and disciplinary meetings, providing advice and guidance in relation to a potential redundancy situation, and managing regulatory and compliance-related casework.Â
We have also supported consultations regarding proposed shift changes, delivered an employee engagement survey and managed general day-to-day casework.Â
Despite some of our team taking (well-deserved) annual leave during August, the depth and flexibility of our team have ensured that client delivery has remained consistent and at the high standard expected. This responsiveness shows our commitment to solving problems quickly and tailoring solutions to each client’s needs.Â


August 2025
Marketing support for clients has remained a key focus throughout the month of August. Activities include the management of social media channels, ensuring our clients maintain a strong online presence, supporting internal communications such as company newsletters, employee engagement surveys and video content creation, to showcase the great work going on behind the scenes of our clients.

We are excited to introduce you to our new HR Consultant, Corrine. Corrine has extensive experience in HR and has made a positive impact in her short time with The HR Booth so far – both internally with our team and externally with our clients.

Meet Felicity, our new HR Consultant. Felicity, who has 15 years’ experience within HR, joins the HR Consultants’ team handling tasks such as disciplinary and grievance matters, absence management and day-to-day HR advice.

Kaitlin started her maternity leave! Kaitlin has been a big part of our Admin Support team, providing a brilliant service to a number of our clients. She will now take a well-deserved break as she prepares for the birth of her baby girl.

John celebrates seven years with The HR Booth. John, known for his inspirational quotes, witty sayings, and, most importantly, for providing an exceptional standard of service to our clients, is a key member of our HR team. John epitomises the service we provide – solving problems for our clients. Thanks for all that you do, John!

Katy has passed her probationary period with us! She initially joined as an HR Administrator however has made the step up to HR Consultant level seamlessly. Katy is an experienced HR Consultant with extensive knowledge across all areas of HR. She supports our clients with handling employee relations, advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, helping to implement HR policies, and assisting with recruitment.

We are delighted to introduce Katie, our new HR Assistant. Katie brings with her a wealth of valuable experience from her time at River Island. Katie has settled into the team nicely and is already providing a high level of service for our clients.

A big celebration at The HR Booth as Alistair was recognised by the CIPD for 30 years of membership! Well done Alistair, here’s to the next 30+ years!

Shannon Celebrated 8 years at The HR Booth. She initially joined on a part-time basis before making the switch to full-time in 2021. Shannon maintains our website and also works closely with a number of clients, supporting with their marketing activities.

We also held a mid-year review at Cluny Activities, where Alistair shared a business update and progress year to date on our KPIs and what’s coming up. John shared some case studies to enhance our knowledge and Lynn provided an update on the Admin Support Team. It was great to have the team together and we also enjoyed lunch and a game of crazy golf – well done John on winning the title!

Congratulations to Rachel who recently celebrated her two-year anniversary with The HR Booth! Rachel joined back in 2023 as an HR Advisor and is now working as part of the HR Consultants team.
Rachel supports clients with a range of topics such as employee case management, grievances and policy & handbook reviews. Thanks for all that you do Rachel!

We received an award for reaching Platinum status at the Breathe Partner Summit! We are delighted that we have reached this milestone. We use Breathe on a daily basis and it really is an essential tool for us. We’re glad that many of our clients are also of this view!Â

We have been nominated for the Breathe HR Partner of the Year Award! This is a testament to the hard work our team have put in over the last year! Chloe from our team will be heading down this Thursday for the Partner Summit.

Rennie and Calum attended the Kelty Hearts FC Sponsors Night. We’ve have a sponsorship board at New Central Park and one of the perks is being able to attend nights like this, hosted by Andrew Guild. To top it off, we won a signed shirt in the business card raffle, which will look great on the wall in our office!

Our HR Consultant, Claire celebrated four years as part of The HR Booth team! Claire joined the team in 2021 and has progressed into a key and well-liked member of our team. Congratulations, Claire!

Last week, we took a trip down to our local bowling alley for our annual tournament. It was great to get together as a team outside work. Congratulations Alistair for taking the title of The HR Booth bowling Champion 2025.

Alistair was a guest speaker at the Big Networking Event held by A G Virtual Assist. It was a fantastic event and generated a real community spirit amongst the room.

Rennie and Alistair visited Beath High School to present to a group of S4 & S5 students on the benefits of apprenticeships. It was great to hear the variety of career options available to the pupils, and the different career paths they are hoping to go down!
