Marketing support for clients has remained a key focus throughout the month of August. Activities include the management of social media channels, ensuring our clients maintain a strong online presence, supporting internal communications such as company newsletters, employee engagement surveys and video content creation, to showcase the great work going on behind the scenes of our clients.

Throughout October, we hosted four informative sessions for our clients focused on the Employment Rights Bill. These sessions have provided valuable insights and guidance to help business owners navigate upcoming legislative changes with confidence. Our team remains committed to delivering a high-quality, supportive service to ensure our clients feel well-equipped during what continues to be a challenging time for many businesses.

We have also delivered a range of management training courses, a combination of onsite with clients or at our office.  This has included how to handle difficult conversations, managing absence and managing performance, plus much more. 

Today, the team embraced the Halloween spirit with an office celebration and quiz. Our resident quizmaster, Lorraine, conjured up a challenging set of questions that had everyone putting their thinking caps on. It was a great afternoon of friendly competition and teamwork. Congratulations to Sharon for taking the top spot! 

We held our annual Macmillan Coffee Afternoon, which was well attended! It was great to see our team and neighbours at Lomond Business Park come together to support the fight against cancer. We smashed our target of £250, but you can still donate here

 

We are excited to introduce you to our new HR Consultant, Corrine. Corrine has extensive experience in HR and has made a positive impact in her short time with The HR Booth so far – both internally with our team and externally with our clients.

 

Meet Felicity, our new HR Consultant. Felicity, who has 15 years’ experience within HR, joins the HR Consultants’ team handling tasks such as disciplinary and grievance matters, absence management and day-to-day HR advice.

 

Kaitlin started her maternity leave! Kaitlin has been a big part of our Admin Support team, providing a brilliant service to a number of our clients. She will now take a well-deserved break as she prepares for the birth of her baby girl.
 

John celebrates seven years with The HR Booth. John, known for his inspirational quotes, witty sayings, and, most importantly, for providing an exceptional standard of service to our clients, is a key member of our HR team. John epitomises the service we provide – solving problems for our clients. Thanks for all that you do, John!

Katy has passed her probationary period with us! She initially joined as an HR Administrator however has made the step up to HR Consultant level seamlessly. Katy is an experienced HR Consultant with extensive knowledge across all areas of HR. She supports our clients with handling employee relations, advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, helping to implement HR policies, and assisting with recruitment.

We are delighted to introduce Katie, our new HR Assistant. Katie brings with her a wealth of valuable experience from her time at River Island. Katie has settled into the team nicely and is already providing a high level of service for our clients.

A big celebration at The HR Booth as Alistair was recognised by the CIPD for 30 years of membership! Well done Alistair, here’s to the next 30+ years!

Shannon Celebrated 8 years at The HR Booth. She initially joined on a part-time basis before making the switch to full-time in 2021. Shannon maintains our website and also works closely with a number of clients, supporting with their marketing activities.

We also held a mid-year review at Cluny Activities, where Alistair shared a business update and progress year to date on our KPIs and what’s coming up.  John shared some case studies to enhance our knowledge and Lynn provided an update on the Admin Support Team.  It was great to have the team together and we also enjoyed lunch and a game of crazy golf – well done John on winning the title!

Congratulations to Rachel who recently celebrated her two-year anniversary with The HR Booth! Rachel joined back in 2023 as an HR Advisor and is now working as part of the HR Consultants team.

Rachel supports clients with a range of topics such as employee case management, grievances and policy & handbook reviews. Thanks for all that you do Rachel!

Sharon celebrated 2 years at The HR Booth. Joining back in 2023, Sharon is a key member of our team, supporting our clients on a range of tasks including grievances, disciplinary hearings & policy reviews. 

Courtney celebrated 1 year at The HR Booth. Courtney joined our team in April of last year and has grown into a popular member of our team, both internally and externally, with our clients. 

Our team travelled to Dunoon to provide our Client with a full day of management training . The team enjoyed delivering the course and it was great to see how engaged our clients were. 

After just two months at The HR Booth, Katy has been promoted to HR Consultant. This is a brilliant achievement and a true testament to the positive impact she has made since joining us. Katy originally came on board as part of our admin support team, but it was clear from her previous experience that it would not be long before she moved into a Consultant role.

With the better weather now here (for the time being!), we’ve decided to launch our first active challenge of the year! As a team, we are aiming to walk or run 100 miles each throughout the month of April.
