Senior HR Consultant and Service Delivery Manager
John manages our internal team and is responsible for service delivery. He is also an established HR Consultant and has had an extensive career in HR for over 30 years. John has significant experience across all areas of HR, including employee relations, TUPE, redundancy and training.
Senior HR Consultant
Claire is one of our fantastic HR experts and she supports our clients on a range of HR matters. She has significant experience across a range of sectors including manufacturing, aviation, and retail. A specialist in Employee Relations, Claire has worked in unionised environments and is proactive at helping businesses foster good relationships with Trade Unions or established Employee Forums. Claire is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and has a keen interest in employment law updates and managing ER cases.
Senior HR Consultant
Jenna has several years of experience within HR and supports our clients on a range of HR subjects. Jenna also has extensive HR systems knowledge and is an expert in using Breathe HR and People HR, as well as Hireful Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
She completed her MSc in Human Resources Management at Edinburgh Napier University and is s Chartered Member of the CIPD. Jenna has experience in all areas of HR with significant experience supporting SMEs, including family business, manufacturing, professional services and hospitality.
Our HR Consultant, Sharon, is an Associate Member of the CIPD and has many years of HR experience in a variety of roles including HR Manager. She provides expert guidance and support to optimise HR strategies, policies and procedures in SMEs and has experience working in manufacturing, car rental and the third sector.
She has a wide range of HR knowledge and has worked with People HR, Moneysoft and Rotacloud. Sharon has a PGDE in Teaching and is also a Mental Health First Aider. She has developed and delivered training on numerous HR topics including mental health, disciplinaries and absence management.
Lynn is one of our HR Consultants and joined the team in August 2023.
Lynn has over 10 years HR experience in local government and within the private sector, supporting businesses in a wide range of HR related activities both in the UK and globally. Lynn has good experience of Scandinavian HR practices and culture, something that benefits our clients that have a presence in these locations.
Lynn has significant experience within manufacturing, as well as helping businesses with process improvements and efficiencies.
An Associate member of the CIPD, Lynn has enrolled to complete her CIPD Level 5, enhancing her knowledge to complement the experience she has gained to date. Lynn also has previous line management experience, so can relate to some of the challenges facing line managers.
Chloe is our HR Advisor and plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to our clients. With a blend of on-site and remote assistance, Chloe ensures that organisations receive high quality HR services tailored to their unique requirements.
This includes support with recruitment, on-boarding, letter writing, minute taking, policy review and also dealing with first line enquiries. Chloe completed her honour’s degree in Human Resource Management and Marketing at Stirling University last year.
Rachel has been in HR for over 10 years, dealing with a huge variety of subjects. She has supported a wide range of businesses from manufacturing businesses to Marine services.
As our HR Consultant, Rachel plays a crucial role in managing and implementing various human resources strategies. She provides guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Kaitlin is a HR Assistant and plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive first line support to our clients.
This includes support with recruitment, on-boarding, letter writing, minute taking, policy review and also dealing with first line enquiries such as absence and conduct. Kaitlin completed her Business Management Degree in 2020 and has previous HR experience within larger organisations, bringing this experience around systems and processes with her. Kaitlin provides a lot of admin support for our clients, including input and reporting on various HR systems.
HR & Recruitment Administrator
Laura is our HR & Recruitment Administrator here at The HR Booth. She has completed a HNC in Administration and IT Technology at Fife College. Laura also recently completed her Administration Assistant Modern Apprenticeship with us.
As part of her role, she helps with day-to-day administrative tasks such as updating documents, maintaining HR databases, as well as supporting clients with recruitment.
Shannon is our in-house Marketing Assistant. With a wide range of experience, Shannon looks after our social media activity, video content, and all other marketing activity. She also works with the team to produce content for our regular newsletters.
Shannon also supports our clients by producing newsletters and films videos for recruitment campaigns.
Founder and CEO
Alistair began his HR career in 1993, and prior to founding The HR Booth, worked in a range of roles including HR Manager, HR Consultant and Operations Manager, having worked in telecommunications, outsourcing, contact centres, defence, wholesale and retail.
During his time with The HR Booth, he has helped support dozens of SME businesses and social enterprises, as well as growing a successful business at The HR Booth. Alistair takes pride in the team and culture we have created and we are walking in the shoes of our clients. Alistair sets the vision and strategy for The HR Booth and is also responsible for business development.
Occupational Health Expert
Mags is an occupational health expert who manages and protects the health of people in the workplace. When employees approach mags with work related health issues, she works hard to find a solution that works for them.
She not only helps to identify work-related problems, she also works hard to prevent possible problems too. She not only supports employees, she also works with managers, the HR team, and safety experts to promote good health at work.
