Meet Our HR Consultant, Claire Brook

Meet Claire Brook, our talented HR Consultant. As one of our external human resources consultant, she manages our Kickstart Gateway programme and supports our clients with general HR matters. Find out how Claire’s first 6 months at The HR Booth has gone.

”The last 6 months have flown by, I feel like I have been with the business longer, which is a good thing! I have enjoyed working with a great and knowledgeable team and was able to meet some of them face to face for the first time recently!

It has been brilliant being exposed to and supporting clients from a variety of sectors. I am excited about the next 6 months and being able to grow and develop in my role and support clients I have still to meet.”

My career journey before The HR Booth

”I originally started in general admin roles before I began my CIPD study. I attended college 2 evenings per week for 4 years to gain my qualification and worked full time in HR with a manufacturing firm whilst doing so.

My HR career so far has allowed me to work within professional services, manufacturing, aviation, and retail business before joining the team at The HR Booth. I have been very lucky and fortunate to meet and learn from several talented HR professionals along the way.”

What I’ve helped clients with so far

”The main areas that I have assisted with have been supporting and conducting disciplinary, grievance, performance management and dismissal hearings. I also Liaise with management on union related issues, support absence management processes, and provide advice on TUPE. Reviewing documentation to ensure they are fit for purpose is also a big part of my job.”
