Meet Our New HR Consultant, Jenna MacBeth

16 July 2021 | Blog

We have continued our journey of growing our team this week by welcoming our new HR Consultant, Jenna MacBeth. Jenna has had an extensive career in a wide range of exciting industries and we are excited for our clients to benefit from her support and expertise.

Find out more about Jenna and how she feels about her first week working at The HR Booth:

My First Week

‘’I am delighted to have been hired as one of the HR Booth’s newest team members. It’s also great to have the pleasure of working with such a friendly and knowledgeable bunch.

I am joining the team with 10 years’ experience within HR. I completed my MSc in Human Resources Management at Edinburgh Napier University and gaining my CIPD Level 7 Qualification, education that I have now successfully been able to put into practice.

I’ve spent the last 6 years of my career within the Tourism & Hospitality Sector, working within a fast-paced Family business where I dealt with everything that was thrown at me (not literally, I may add!). Working within HR there are never 2 days the same and never more so than in that particular sector – I jumped from Employment Law Specialist, Recruiter and general HR Adviser to Agony Aunt, Problem Solver and Life Coach on an hourly basis. This industry has allowed me to deal with a myriad of employee issues. I’ve also been able to put proactive initiatives in place to streamline all employee practices. This is experience that I hope I can now bring to The HR Booth clients.

Joining The HR Booth feels a little like coming back to my roots. I started out my HR Career within an HR Consultancy as a junior team member. It feels like a badge of honour to now return to the world of consultancy but as a fully-fledged HR Consultant.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to speak to some of our clients during my first week. In addition, I am really looking forward to building up these relationships and more over the coming months.’’
