As we are all thinking about the holidays, we have decided to send an electronic Christmas card this year. Rather than send gifts, we have decided to make a donation to charities. We also wanted to think about those less fortunate this year.

Fife Gingerbread

This year we are supporting Fife Gingerbread, a Fife-based charity we know very well. Fife Gingerbread support and empower lone parents, vulnerable and disadvantaged families through early intervention and partnership working.

Social Bite

We are also supporting Social Bite. This is a Scottish social enterprise which seeks to alleviate homelessness through innovative solutions. Furthermore, This can be from employment and support programmes, to temporary housing.

In addition, you can support this cause by donating to their campaign or by sponsoring a Christmas dinner for a homeless person here.

You can also visit Social Bite’s sandwich shops in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

The Ann Edgar Charitable Trust

Finally, we are also making a donation to The Ann Edgar Charitable Trust. As you may know, my wife lost her best friend to cancer in 2016, and Lorraine and her friends paid tribute to Lesley at the anniversary in September this year, participating in Pretty Muddy.

Festive Opening

We close at 1pm on Friday 22 December 2017 and re-open at 9am on 3rd January 2018.
