Meet The Team: Laura

This week, we spoke to Laura, who is our HR & Recruitment Administrator. But did you know Laura started as an apprentice with us?

Laura began her journey at The HR Booth as Administrative Assistant Modern Apprentice, and within a year she took on a permanent full time role as HR & Recruitment Administrator.

How long have you worked for The HR Booth?

I have worked at The HR Booth since October 2022.

What’s your job role and what does a typical day look like?

My role is the HR and Recruitment Administrator. My typical day is focusing with ongoing recruitment projects, helping support the wider team with any administration support and supporting the team in any way I can.

What can you support clients with?

I can support with any recruitment activities, such as helping recruit new employees, advertising different roles, creating job adverts, arranging interviews, and helping clients with any recruitment related questions. I can also support with administration support such a working with BreatheHR, updating documents and files.

What do you enjoy most about The HR Booth?

What I have enjoyed most about being at The HR Booth is how close the team is. I have the received the best support from the team. I have also enjoyed learning everything HR, although I am still relatively new to the world of HR, I can see how much I have learnt over the past year from getting involved and working with the team.

If you could visit any country in the world, where would you go and what would you want to experience there?

I would love to visit America, my number one place would be New York. I have always wanted to go especially during the festive period.

If you were stuck on a deserted island, what 3 items would you bring with you?

My 3 items would be my dog as he is the best company, I would also bring my phone and some suncream!

If you could swap jobs with anyone in the office for a day, who would it be, and why?

I would like to swap jobs with Shannon for the day, as I would love to see the ins and outs of all things marketing.
